Irish Tourism Board & Chamber Orchestra

In the first cool days in September 2021, CWB was hired by Ireland’s Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media to produce a concert series at historic locations around the country, to boost tourism after the 2020 pandemic.

I was involved in this production from beginning to end. I provided support in the booking of this event, as well as writing and designing content for press releases and promotional advertising. During the concerts, I was tasked with managing the artists’ needs. With a full orchestra, special musical guest Martin Murray, and Rockwell Music Academy, logistics ranged from transportation, accommodations, equipment set up and breakdown, and payroll. I was also the ticket taker during the concerts.

The Irish Chamber Orchestra & Special Guests performed in Carrick-On-Suir and Cahir

Special permits from Heritage Ireland were obtained for access to the historic locations of Ormond Castle and Cahir Castle in Tipperary.
